So recently I went to the beach. My family and I were looking for seashells, when we stumbled across a sand dollar. It was buried under tons of sand, so my dad got it out, and threw it back into the sea. We came across a lot more of them, then I saw a dead sand-dollar, and then a broken, dead, sand-dollar.
We are like sand-dollars, every time we sin we wash up on the shore, and hide our selves under the sand, from God, but He digs and digs for us, and he gives us another chance, he throws us back in the sea. Then, there are the dead sand-dollars, the dead ones are the unbelievers, they sin and they wash up on shore, they hide, but not from God, they just hide from themselves. They want a second chance, and God gives them one, because He loves them, but they don't see God, they think they're the ones who threw themselves back in the water. Lastly, the broken sand-dollars, they were thrown back in the water multiple times, (to become Christians) and they just turned away, they kept coming on the shore, and God tried to pick them up, but they had already been crushed into too many small pieces.
Hope you enjoyed this post!!

Power Outage
This past Thursday, we had a power outage. Earlier in the day around 4:30 the power flickered off and then back on, my family and I thought nothing of it. But around 6:30 the power went out and didn't come back on, I was in my room and I thought someone in my family and was playing a joke on me, by turning the lights off, so I yelled "Not Funny!" Then I looked out of my window and my neighbors power was out too. So I turned my flashlight from my iPod on, and set out to find my family. I found my family in the kitchen, they all had flashlights by the time I found them. And then we heard a knock on the door...it was our neighbor. So, we opened the door and let her in and she sat down and said "Well, guess you all better have some stories." So we sat and talked and as she told us about her life, I found out that she has lived a rough life. She has had to deal with many hardships...alone. She ended up staying and talking until about 10:00. We had an event that we had to plan activities for, so my dad and my brother went to get us dinner. Around 12:00 the power came on and we were so grateful....for those five minutes of power, and then it cut out. It was like this for the rest of the night. At 5:43 the power finally stayed on. I think God made the power outage happen for us to actually get to know our neighbor. It just goes to show you don't know a person, until you actually take the time to get to know them.

About Me!!!
Hi, I'm Caroline! Let me tell you about myself! I'm 12 years old, I'm homeschooled, and I'm a Christian.
I have lots of hobbies! Some of my hobbies are, reading (I'm a huge bookworm), my favorite books/book series are The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, The Maze Runner, Charlotte's Web, Anne of Green Gables, A Little Princess and Pirates! I also enjoy crafting, I love wrecking my journal, embroidering, and making stuff out of duct tape.
I am part of a few extra activities. I take voice lessons and I'm part of a county
4-H group. I love musicals! My favorite musicals are The Sound of Music,Les Miserables, Annie, Mary Poppins.
I sing all the time, I like singing many different types of songs, especially pop music, Christian music, and musical songs.
I'm VERY competitive, having three older brothers who all play football,it eventually is going to rub off on you.;) If my brothers were playing football with their friends, I would join in. My sports teams I root for are, the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, and the Washington Capitals.
I've been a Christian since I was 4, My family and I were in a car accident, some guy that was drunk, hit us, and some of my family should have died, but we all survived, because of God protecting us. That night, I became a Christian and if I had died that night I wouldn't be able to spend eternity with my family, in Heaven.
Well, that about sums me up! I hope you enjoy my blog, and continue to check back!
